Who we are
At Good Samaritan, we believe medicine should still be personal. We take the time to get to know our patients, their families, and the stories behind their health—not just the diagnoses in their charts. When you call our office, you'll often be greeted by someone who already knows your name. When you see your physician, you'll be cared for by someone who truly understands your medical history, your goals, and your journey to wellness. While we embrace that old-fashioned, relationship-based approach to medicine, we also believe our patients deserve the very best of modern healthcare. We stay current with the latest medical research, evidence-based guidelines, and advances in treatment so you receive care that is both compassionate and up to date. To us, you're never just another appointment. You're part of our family, and we're proud to serve the community we call home.
Get the care you deserve!

Love. Tolerance. Empathy.
What we do
Every patient has different healthcare needs, and our practice is designed to meet them. We have extensive experience caring for seniors and patients with complex medical conditions who require thoughtful management of multiple chronic illnesses, medications, and coordination with specialists. At the same time, we understand that many younger individuals and families simply need convenient, efficient care for annual physicals, sick visits, school and sports physicals, employment medical clearances, and other everyday healthcare needs. Whether your healthcare needs are simple or highly complex, our team has the knowledge, experience, and resources to provide the care that's right for you.
We also believe that healthcare should be flexible. In addition to accepting most major insurance plans, we offer a variety of affordable cash-pay services for patients who prefer transparent pricing or need services that may not be covered by insurance. This allows us to provide more options, greater convenience, and care that is tailored to each patient's unique needs.
Why We Do What We Do
Good Samaritan was founded on a simple belief: that we should spend our lives helping people who need our help. That belief was instilled in Dr. Jang by his mother from an early age. She taught him that a life devoted to serving others is one of the greatest expressions of our humanity—and those values became the foundation upon which Good Samaritan was built.
The name Good Samaritan comes from her favorite story from the Bible. To her, it represented the kind of compassion that asks nothing in return—the simple act of helping another person because they need it. Our patients come from every background, faith, and walk of life, but the values behind that story are universal: kindness, compassion, generosity, and serving others in times of need.
Those principles continue to guide everything we do today. We believe that patients deserve more than a diagnosis or a prescription—they deserve someone who will stand beside them, advocate for them, and help them navigate an increasingly complex healthcare system. Illness can be one of the most difficult and vulnerable times in a person's life, and no one should have to face it alone. Patients need someone to lift them up when they are down, to guide them through uncertainty, and to stand with them every step of the way. We embrace that responsibility with humility and purpose because we believe our role extends far beyond the exam room.
Every member of our team shares that purpose. We are committed to serving our community with integrity, excellence, and compassion, and to being a trusted advocate for every patient who places their health in our hands. When our patients know they have a team that is truly looking out for them, we believe they achieve better health, greater peace of mind, and are better equipped to navigate today's complex healthcare system.
The Patient Experience
Exceptional healthcare begins with a lasting relationship. At our practice, you'll see the same provider at each visit whenever possible, allowing us to build a true understanding of your health over time. Rather than treating each visit as an isolated event, each visit builds upon the last-learning from the past, addressing your needs today, and planning thoughtfully for the future. This continuity allows us to make better-informed decisions and provide care that is both comprehensive and personalized.
We believe the best healthcare decisions are made together. Every treatment plan is built through open discussion, with your goals, preferences, and concerns at the center of the conversation. We take the time to explain your options, offer recommendations based on the latest evidence-based medicine and clinical guidelines, and help you make informed decisions with confidence.
Our commitment extends far beyond the exam room. Our experienced team is dedicated to helping patients navigate the many challenges of today's healthcare system. From coordinating specialist referrals to resolving medication-related issues—including prior authorizations, pharmacy delays, and prescription refills—we work proactively to prevent unnecessary interruptions in your care. We also help patients understand and make the most of their insurance benefits, removing barriers that stand between them and the care they deserve.
We understand that great healthcare is about more than making the right diagnosis—it's about ensuring that every patient has the support, resources, and advocacy needed to successfully carry out their treatment plan. Whether we're coordinating care, overcoming unexpected obstacles, or helping patients access the medications and services they need, our team is committed to making every step of the journey as seamless as possible.
